Prior to 2001: Sang for several bands in my lifetime. Beginning with a junior high band
... don't even remember the name ... we only played Black Sabbath tunes and only played a couple of school talent shows ...
which we won. In high school I was in a band called Available Now ... kind of ... we didn't play anywhere ... too poor
to afford equipment and never had a drummer, but I began writing songs at that point. I later joined a band named Crossfire
in 1992 ... where I wrote all of the lyrics and a couple of the songs that we performed complete. It was my first working
band experience and we probably played a hundred shows over the next three years ... in the Houston area ... Livewire was
one that I can remember well ... probably because I still have a VHS tape of our first gig ... and it was at Livewire, but
we played probably fifty different biker dive bars and a few "clubs" ... including the Crabshack ... that place was a killer
party bar ... it was a "dock" bar on Clear Lake ... and boats would pull up after partying on the lake all day and
the party on into the night with bands jammin' the whole time. It was ragin' for sure! Anyway, if you read this
far you're more patient than I am!
I play several instruments ... though I am no instrumentalist. I play them to write and simply for fun ... including:
Guitar, Piano/keys and Drums.
